Imports averaged approximately U.S. $1 billion a year, including grain, consumer goods, raw materials and chemicals.

Transportation in Denmark offers a variety of options for inhabitants and travelers including airways, railway, and roadways.  Major shipping ports in Denmark include Copenhagen, Aalborg, Esbjerg and Fredericia.

The Danske Statsbaner is the largest railway operating system in Denmark, with the Copenhagen Central Station serving numerous routes throughout Denmark and South toward the German border.  Fairies are also common forms of transportation in Denmark, as his passenger traffic by sea.
